Austin Echols

Board Member

Austin Echols is an attorney in Houston, Texas, at the international law firm of Baker Botts L.L.P. His practice focuses on a range of environmental, health, and safety issues. His experience includes addressing workplace safety, process safety, pipeline safety, incident response, maritime, air, water, and waste issues. Previously, Austin worked as a terminal operator for a large oil and gas company and served in the USCG as a shipboard engineer, waterfront facility inspector, and pollution investigator. Austin continues to serve in the USCG Reserve, providing legal assistance to military service members, veterans, and their families. Austin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Sam Houston State University and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
